Mission

The mission of the Healing Point Wellness Center is to provide a resource for individuals in the community to obtain a natural, proactive approach for their health care that promotes a healthy lifestyle encompassing the body, mind and spirit through complimentary therapies, health education, and wellness programs. Wellness is not the absence of disease but an optimal balance of well being that encompasses the body, mind, and spirit with individuals taking responsiblity for their own state of health. The six dimensions of the Healing Point Wellness Center's wellness model provide the framework by which individuals can measure their growth as a whole person and determine how well-rounded and balanced their lifestyle is at any given point. The center's wellness model is based upon that established by that of Dr. Bill Hatler of the National Wellness Institute. The six components are: social, occupational, spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional.
